Club Annual General Meeing

The 2019 Livingston & West Lothian Hockey AGM will take place on Wednesday 8th May at 19:30 at Deans CHS.
All club members, and the parents/guardians of junior members, are encouraged to attend to receive reports from the committee, updates on the plans for the club going forward, and vote on the composition of the new committee.
Nominations shall be considered for ALL committee positions, which are detailed below.
- Chairperson – To chair executive committee meetings and general meetings and lead the Club in the pursuit of the objectives laid out in the constitution.
- Vice Chairperson – To deputise for the Chairperson at meetings and to assist the chairperson in pursuing the objectives of the Club as laid down in the constitution.
- Secretary – Will be responsible in keeping the records of the Club and of meetings and will be the main contact for correspondence for the Club and will ensure members are registered appropriately with Scottish Hockey and East District. The secretary will normally attend East District meetings and ensure that members of the Executive Committee are kept up to date with any requirements from Scottish Hockey or East District.
- Treasurer – Will be responsible for producing the annual accounts, and will manage the bank account on behalf of the Club. The Treasurer will also propose the annual subscription fees and will inform the Executive Committee of any members who have not paid their fees.
- Match secretary – unless position filled by team captains
- Junior secretary
- Child Protection Officer - recognised and qualified individual who is the first point of contact for any child protection issues. Maintains club governance list of qualifications, such as first aid, PVG and coaching
- Social Secretary – organise and co-ordinate social activities throughout the season
- Junior Representative – boys & girls
- Team Captains
- Development Officer – Establish development plan and oversee website to ensure that up to date information is available to club members. The Secretary, Team Captains and Fixtures Secretaries will ensure that information is passed to the Communications Officer in a timely manner to allow for effective communications.
